The Story of Einkorn & Cave Eats
The discovery in 1991 of Einkorn grain on the frozen body of 5,000 year-old Otzi, the Caveman, found in the Italian Alps, provided archeological evidence of the use of grain in ancient diets in Europe. Shortly after, it began to be re-cultivated for us to enjoy today. It was also discovered in the Fertile Crescent (modern Turkey) dating back to approximately 10,000 years!
